TerraTalk is designed as a peer-to-peer communication tool for chat, file transfer and audio calls. The goal is to keep communication direct between the connected devices whenever possible.

Important: TerraTalk does not store chat messages, transferred files or audio conversations on the application server.

1. What is stored on this device

TerraTalk may store the following information locally in your browser:

This information is stored in the browser local storage on your own device. If you clear browser data, change browser, or reinstall the device, this local information may be lost.

2. Messages, files and audio

Messages, file transfers and audio streams are handled through peer-to-peer browser technology. The server is used for signaling, so the devices can find and connect to each other.

TerraTalk does not intentionally save message content, file content or audio content on the server.

3. Signaling server

The signaling server helps exchange technical connection information such as peer identifiers, online status and WebRTC connection data. This is necessary for establishing the connection.

4. Technical logs

The server or hosting infrastructure may temporarily process technical data such as IP address, connection time, browser request data and error information. This is used for security, diagnostics and service operation.

5. Cookies

TerraTalk does not require marketing cookies. The application mainly uses browser local storage for the local device code and contacts.

6. User responsibility

You are responsible for deciding whom you connect with and what information you send. Do not send sensitive information to people you do not trust.
